We want the book to hook readers from the very beginning, making them eager to see how everything will unfold.
THE CHARACTERS
First, the characters aren’t just stereotypes whose sole purpose is to drive the main character through the plot — they’re fully developed individuals with their own agendas, living their own lives within the story’s world.
Second, it would be wonderful if readers everywhere could understand and enjoy them.
